Safety: Failure to follow safety precautions may result in personal injury
- Before beginning installation, read the operators manual carefully, and follow all recommendations and instruction guidelines. Failure to properly assemble the trimmer head can result in an improperly working device, as well as risk personal injury.
- Before starting any power equipment, please inspect all nuts and bolts used during installation, and ensure the installed hardware is properly tightened and securely installed.
- Always wear personal protective gear, as in safety glasses, a face shield, and body protection.
- Remove any glass, rocks, sticks, wire, or any other foreign objects that can be thrown by a gas powered trimmer.
- Never operate any machinery under the influence alcohol, drugs, or prescription medications that can impair vision or eye hand coordination.
- Use both hands while operating powered machinery.
- When changing trimmer line, blade, or replacing pivots, make sure the engine is off, and not running.
- Keep the area of operation clear of all people, especially small children and pets when operating trimmer.
Helpful Hints:
- When replacing worn out blades or lines, ensure the whole worn out set is replaced, to ensure proper operating condition.

- When operating with cutting blades, DO NOT use in the vertical position, as this will damage the blades and possibly cause serious personal injury.
- It is recommended that all nuts and bolts be periodically checked for security.
- Remember during installation, that some trimmers have reverse threads and tighten counter-clockwise.
- When tackling long grass or weeds, if any vegetation gets trapped or tangled in the trimmer shaft, to turn off trimmer and then remove any entanglement.
